House Fix Team (“House Fix Team,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your right to control your personal information. This page explains our practices and how to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other state privacy laws.

We do not sell or share your personal information

House Fix Team does not sell your personal information. We also do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as that term is defined in California law. We have not sold or shared personal information in the past 12 months.

When you submit a request, we give your contact and project details only to the service professional in our network who is matched to your project. We do this so they can provide the service you asked for, and they may use it only for that purpose. We do not provide your information to other companies for their own marketing.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Submitting an opt-out request

Even though we do not sell or share personal information, you may still send us an opt-out request. We will record your preference and apply it if our practices ever change. To submit a request:

• Call 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Please include your name and the email address or phone number you used with us, so we can find your records. You do not need to create an account to submit an opt-out request.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser.

Your other rights

Depending on your state, you may also have the right to know, access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to appeal our decision on a request. We offer these rights to all of our users, wherever they live. See section 7 of our Privacy Policy for how to use them.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request for you. We may ask the agent for written proof of your permission, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.

No discrimination

We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
